All very well but what is the answer? All indications are that there has been a consistent and continuous following for neo-con/neo-lib orthodoxy in one form or another after Hayek/Friedman’s dream was hijacked and morphed following 2008. Capital abhors a vacuum and a return to Keynesian economics ain’t on the cards anytime soon. It’s sell by date is long past.

We need a new economics and despite casting around, I don’t see anything credible.
